Politics.

Berlin is again the political center of Germany. Where once a wall with death strips separated people from each other, has grown together, "what always belonged together", as the former Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt aptly put it.

The Reichstag building with Jakob-Kaiser-, Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders- and Paul-Löbe-Haus as well as the Federal Chancellery are just a few of the stations that are of architectural interest to visitors to Berlin in addition to their political importance.

There are a number of other scenes of political life in Berlin that are as well worth seeing: the embassies in Tiergarten, Bellevue Palace and the Bundesrat building with its eventful historical past at Leipziger Platz.
